Who is responsible

Whitelify operates whitelify.com. For any privacy question or request, email privacy@whitelify.com.

What we collect and why

• Waitlist signup. Your email address, the time you signed up and the time you confirmed it. We use it only to tell you when the Whitelify private beta opens. Legal basis: your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR), given by submitting the form and confirming the email we send you.
• Abuse prevention. When you submit the form, a shortened, irreversibly hashed form of your IP address is kept for up to 24 hours to stop automated signups. Legal basis: our legitimate interest in protecting the service (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
• Server logs. Our hosting provider processes technical data (such as IP address and browser type) to deliver the site and keep it secure.

This site sets no tracking cookies, uses no advertising or analytics tools, and loads its fonts from our own server.

Who processes data for us

• Cloudflare, Inc. (website hosting and waitlist storage).
• Resend, Inc. (sending the confirmation and beta emails).

Both may process data outside the EU under the EU Standard Contractual Clauses or the EU-US Data Privacy Framework.

How long we keep it

Confirmed signups are kept until the private beta opens and we have told you, or until you unsubscribe, and no longer than 24 months. If you have not confirmed yet, we keep your signup for up to 12 months so you can still confirm later, and we send you nothing except your confirmation email.

Your rights

You can ask for access to, correction of, deletion of, or a copy of your data, restrict or object to processing, and withdraw consent at any time (every email has an unsubscribe link that deletes your signup). Email privacy@whitelify.com. You may also complain to a data protection supervisory authority.
